huge respect for what you are doing you help a lot fo beginners. There is a problem I would like you to do a video about, that kind of very tiny white-red insect i don’t know what it is called that invades nests and multiply appears mostly at night in very big quantities. What are they and how can someone get rid of them. Thank you dr daniel much love ❤️

Thanks Mr Daniel. I studied poultry management last year and started my farm in July 2020. Now I've spent I year on ground and have been very successful in raising baby chicks without any motality. When I found you online I learnt a lot and now I'm crazy man. More knowledge coming to me. Thanks for being my inspirational farmer

Hi Dr Daniel, I have been following your KZbin videos on chicken rearing for the past 14 months, they are really inspirational and they have actually encouraged me to venture into this project. Today, I have 2 egg incubators, I hatch my own improved kienyeji chicks and have managed to make a huge sale of the birds, it is a good enterprise. I just stumbled on your channel 2hrs ago and your videos are very informative, evocative and simple to understand. I started my first batch of just 20 broiler chicken on may 7th with the information and research I got from Google. I never had any experience nor visited any poultry farm except for this personal experiment and practical, I ended up losing 2 chicken but then learn so much in the process. Most of what you talk about are things I have experienced and learnt through it. Thanks very much for more additional information I got from your video. My experiment was a great success as most of my chicken were 3kg/4kg in 8wks I decided to keep them

Hi Daniel, the deaths of chicks for us have been due to a dog getting hold of it or the mother hen squashing it! We had one instance of two chicks that drowned in a drain that was blocked with mud due to a flood we had in our province. We have since built up the drain wall around it and covered it to prevent it happening again. It breaks my heart EVERY time we lose a chick.

Yeah, I’m with you. I have rabbits and I lose bunnies too. Hate it. Trial and error sucks.

Powerful brother, thanks! We didn't lose any of our baby chicks in the earlier stages (which I heard was the harder part of the process). Once they got around four months or so, we started losing some randomly. I almost gave up on chickens, but we got a different breed and hatched chicks from our neighbors flock and are now on the other side of things! Praise God!!

Do you know why the older ones were dying? Mine are about 1.5-2 weeks and I don’t want to lose any more. 😢

Thank you for the class,it was fantastic lesson. Now what I want to know, these litters you showed,I did not imagine a single bit if I have ever come across them. So I want you to tell me where one can get them, because I loved them and look are the best for avoiding ammonia. Though there a numerous things I learnt from you I guess this time in brooding I will have zero loss and this has been my headache. So please that kind of litter let me know where I can buy them. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
