Dr. Daniel you were one of the biggest inspirations for me starting my poultry farm. I currently have about 150 breeders hatching out about 1,000 chickens months. God bless ✝️

I want to start my breeder parent stock for boiler and layer stock but am trying to get as much information on operations like feed for the first 8 to 12 weeks then what feed do you give them next I know about 12 weeks you start giving then layer mash until they start laying but from 12 weeks to laying do you give less light and fed one time a day
@Ephesians6twelve Жыл бұрын
@@desmondmcintosh2992 sorry, I don’t have broiler breeders, just normal layer chickens as breeders. Also I don’t feed anything at all, they only free range and eat from compost piles made with cow manure and wood chips. I get less eggs than I would if I fed layer mash but my feed cost is $0 so it’s worth it. Search “Karl hammer chickens” on KZbin for more info on raising chickens on no feed, only compost and free range. Hope that helps.

Good evening, I am Ivorian I live in Ivory Coast and I am very admiring your videos even if the language is a little lacking. I have a question, I have 2 bands of 1500 chickens. A band that arrived on September 16, 2022 for 1 week now has started laying... is this normal? If so, would it have consequences on their production? What would be the consequences?
