I started farming in my family's backyard from food scraps since I didn't have a job, never expected that farming would be something I'd become so passionate about. I now have 7 chickens and 2 ducks in addition to vegetables and animal fodder growing in the backyard, I am working to create a permaculture system wherein to save space I grow produce on the same land that the birds roam, providing benefit both to them and the crops (the birds have cover from hawks, they eat pests, they fertilize the crops, they may eat produce that falls to the ground). Based in America.

I want to start farming so bad but my reasons as why I have not yet started are Land to buy to construct on units for the bird is so expensive and renting land to put on a farm landlords get jealous of the structure and the idea by the time your first rented period is finished he will not extend your lease or stay on his property and yet you have put in your money to construct the unit now you have to look for another place transfer demolish the structure and erect it in another place. Secondly:- financial security some of us we have jobs that if we quit them right now to focus on the farm with the capital we have we can't run are farm to even its first birthday. So What I zeroed down to if any one can take my advice first things first I addressed my challenges and I decided for the issue of land instead of renting it let me buy mine. For the financial insurance am saving the small money so that I can build rental property first all this am doing is to get to my passion of farming there for me I have not yet started because I am still addressing my obstacles which I realized could kill my dream and goal

Real state development is taking land away from production.. here in the Cordoba mountine, they are tucks and tucks bringing food from the city to the village... And the land here is sold to build canines... I have 1 hectare +- and i produce 500 broilers and hold around 150 local chickens for egg production... YES YOU CAN DO IT.
