I have to say, you rock being a girl dad!!!! They are so lucky to have a dad that spends time with them, showing them life lessons. I have the fondest memories of hunting with my dad and fishing with my dad. He has been gone since 2016 and memories are priceless!!!

Your opening line is definitely the truth. Everyone has their own personality. So glad one of your daughters is in line with your own so that you can share those memories. I’ve been watching your family videos shares and they’re wonderful. I took my son hunting in my stand when he was 12 (1996) after we went through the hunters Education course with our states conservation dept. Opening morning we saw a large deer on the ridge over and as he Scraped the ground and licked the White oak’s upper branch above his head I whispered what he was doing. All the while both our hands were on the rifle, me handing it to him and waiting for him to take it. Not that year but when he had his own 10 yr old son did he take his first deer. So precious are the quality times with your children. God bless

Oh how this video made me miss my husband. Ron and I loved camping. We used to go as often as we could. The last few years we could not go dues to fires. Ron had COPD AND asthma so we had to stay home away from smoke! We used to have a camping weekend with all our children and grandchildren. Such wonderful time we had. Fantastic memories you and hope always remember I can go back and look at your videos. help can show her family watch her and her dad done many years before. When I was young, I didn’t have videos. There was no way to keep our memories except with steel pictures. I like my bacon well done. You 2 are making me miss my camping days my husband and I started tent camping just shortly after we were married in 1962 then we bought a fold down camper with just 2 beds and kitchenette then we advanced to a larger one and then a travel trailer. We had to give it up 2 years after he had a major stroke.

you have no idea on how relaxing that would be for me. i would LOVE to camp thier. it would do me so much good. i have a bad heart, but this help me out SO MUCH health wise. even in the winter time, i would even stay in the tent. i know the tent has a place for a stove to keep warm in the winter.

We used to swim in lakes in minnesota, that when you got out, you'd have a few leaches stuck to you. We put salt on them to loosen them so we could get them off.

U should freeze dry eggs. Can either add onion or pepper later, or make a mixture that u take camping for ur breakfast. U have lots of eggs right now & u can figure out how much powder is same as egg. Good way & less space when storing the eggs.

Roflol that was funny Dutch you growling. Tinkled me. Hope , we use to go recreation gold panning in Salt Creek at Gatesville Indiana. The place was so small it had a sign that said Entering Gatesville , Leaving Gatesville. We were in the Rock bar after a flood several days prior. I turned over a rock looking for black sand. What I seen was a big fat greenish leech. Biggest I've ever see but wasn't sure due to the green tint. Now this gentleman was teaching others in a class how to pan. Some were thigh high in water. Several people. I asked the teacher if this is what I thought it was. He said leech and that was it. Never seen so many move out of the water fast like that before. I still get a kick out of that memory. And yes I did try not to giggle or smile. But, Hope even adults get freaked out over them. Just check yourself every once in a while. You will be fine. Don't let fear ever get you into a place you can not enjoy country living, creeks and the woods. You've a great life living the way your parents set out. And couldn't be more proud of the as well as you and your siblings. ❤

I loved the whole experience especially at night. It's a wonderful thing to do together like camping. Hope looks so comfortable sleeping on the air mattress. I noticed Lily joined her. .
