Good things are happening on the abandoned creek property! That cable may have been stretched out on that pathway/roadway to haul out materials or logs back in the day. The creek was really moving, apst got the Bobcat clean. Love ya'll ❤️

While Dutch calls it a creek, it is actually a river in north eastern Oklahoma and in Oklahoma there are river tributaries that have the name of creek in it that is actually a river, and is classified as a river by the us department of interior.

Try giving the shepherds mega doses of vitamin C. The first time I read about it, in Outdoor Life, years ago, we had 2 upland bird dogs, one young and one old. We'd quail hunt with both dogs on the weekend. After the Saturday hunt, the old dog had to be helped into and out of the truck and couldn't hunt the next day. The day we tried the vitamin C, we gave the old dog 2000 mg before we left the house and 1000 mg, every 2 hours during the hunt. When we goy home, the old dog was fine. We gave him another 2000 mg that night. The next morning, we opened the dog run and the old dog charged out and jumped into the bed of the truck, before we could let the tailgate down, I read several articles about it, 20+ years ago, telling how it helps dogs and people. I've used the mega doses of Vitamin C on myself and it work. Th articles all said the same thing, soreness in muscles is caused by micro-tears in the muscle tissue. The body uses vitamin C while repairing these tiny tears. The body eliminates unused vitamin C every time you urinate, the reason for the doses, every 2 hours. It just helps muscle pain. Does nothing for joint pain, like arthritis. If you have some around the house, give it a try.

What I’ve found recently they charged me an international fee. Which I didn’t know that. I’m not unset it relatively cheap. 15 cents to a dollar. I’ve been obsessed with them. Because I’m on a fix budget I have to watch my Pennie’s. But my Pennie’s go further with temu for electronic etc.🙋‍♀️❤️

You should string some sort of net a ways down in the creek so the girls and you and Brandy can go tubing in the creek. And the net can catch you. Love the progress on your NLA (no longer abandoned) Creek Property!👏 We had a cable like that we strung up along the trees of a steep hill when I was a kid; we used it to help us get up the hill, especially when sledding in winter. The one you have would help make a nice fjord across the fast/deep area of the creek if tied off across the water. Blessings 🥰👍

I have used TEMU 6 times already. The things are good, just have to really read the description, the sizes and reviews. I have some things in my cart to put in another order. For the price you can’t find them anywhere cheaper, you can spend hours looking thru their inventory!

I know right! I also have ordered from them 6x. All these people on here bashing about not buying from China just don’t realize that most things we use in our everyday lives are made in China. I cannot afford to buy America made because they jack up the prices on their products. The products sold in most businesses are bought from China and then price gouged to make a profit. I am just cutting out the middleman and going straight to the source to save money so I can afford to buy the “food” I need to survive! When the dry season comes you folk should put depth markers in the creek bed, a couple of places(where you want to cross) to help you gauge water levels all year long. I would also invest in metal detectors. You never know what you’ll find out there. Buried cables, wires, old coins, jars of money hidden by previous owner…..fun for the girls.

Back when I lived on the mountain,my dog and I would Walk every day down to the River. As soon as the ice broak He would be in that River 🌞. you could go a lil deeper the the bob cat, as long as it's not sucking in water the oil or breather, you're good. No worries of it floating, even with tht water flow, it's just too heavy. I'd find a place where it's about 18" deep and carry some speed through it and it will wash out the top. Also, I was a lil bit disappointed, I thought for sure you were gonna scoop up some river rock and put it on the road to keep from washing as much, plus, a roa with river rock, would look awesome.

Could have gone at least another foot deeper with no problems. Fan on the skid is up on top of the engine. Air intake is also up top of the engine. Yeah, water may have gotten in the engine compartment a bit, but wouldn't have hurt anything. Hell, it may wash out the dirt that collects in the engine bay. I've completely submerged the tracks in water with no issues. As long as it's not getting in the cab, or being sucked in by the intake, you are good to go. That said, I'd likely not go deeper than 2 feet.

I don't mind buying things from China BUT seeing that they ship in bright orange packages with their logo emblazoned on it gives me pause. WHY???? in the past I've purchased things from companies that arrive in bright packages with company names on them and the US Customs has opened the package, taken items and companies won't reimburse you for whatever is missing. I had several come here untouched so I called the Customs office where they were opened and I spoke to the Customs officer at the mail center and asked why they had done that, was told that it's basically because they can and the jerk laughed because he said foreign companies make it easier for Customs to know which packages coming through get inspected with the bright colors and logos. He said they grab those first and decide how many to open each day. He went on to say it's become a game of sorts where they pick a number out of a bowl to decide how many packages they open daily. I'm usually easy going but that just ticked me off and ended up calling him several rude names and told him in explicit details what to do with himself
