Faro's Tomb Theme - Entombed [Extended] (Horizon Forbidden West)

My goal here was to make an extended version of "Entombed" that, while not 100% complete, would create a much more accurate listening experience reflecting the order and pacing of the Faro's Tomb quest. Below are timestamps of what's been included here. 0:00 Aloy explores the bunker 1:58 Ceo, Alva, and the crew enter the bunker 2:42 "Entombed" from the official album release 4:59 Corruptor battle* 6:47 Aloy and friends venture further into the tomb 7:50 Omega clearance/Faro's fate cutscene 11:11 Escape from the tomb* The Corruptor battle had drums and the escape didn't - I swapped these so the biggest part of the track would be at the end.

2:00-2:30 that Heavy Synth Bass that plays throughout the song is literally Ted Faro's Theme song Or if Faro Automated had it's own theme song this would 100% be it. It's perfection

Pharao... Faro. A little on the nose but I loved this quest because of its atmosphere.

Yes please. Unoriginal names for game characters destroy immersion and the player's investment into everything considering the seriousness tried to convey.

Its not the name that was assimilated from the word "pharao", its more likely the tomb was made to look like that based on the name, since they realised the theme fits the name and Faros personality @pst5345. Faro was created in the previous horizon game.

Ted Faro himself adopted all the ancient Egyptian iconography. Scarab, Khopesh, Thebes, etc. He probably thought it was a great marketing hook. Over time, drunk on hubris and power, the trillionaire saw himself as a god among mortals (just as real-life billionaires do). Knowing how batshit crazy many billionaires are, it’s totally immersive that Faro would extend the metaphor to such a ridiculous extreme.
