How do you ride a bike so confidently on ground you know you can't easily brake, if at all? I know that knowing the paths is important, but never the less, there must be much training involved. It looks so reckless, but I know it can't be. So does training for stuff like riding on sand mostly consist of riding until you fall or crash? That's what I imagine

These guys are insanely fit and the bikes have incredible suspension and hydraulic disc brakes. So they can control the bike with their core and slow down some even if they can't completely stop. But it's still an insane feat of athleticism-- they cave crazy core strength and endurance to ride a lot of that stuff (not to mention talent). So these guys train on a ton of different terrain. There's a video of him going down a ski resort.

Do you have a trail forks GPS mapping of this? A location map? Did you run into any restrictions? I've been searching "Faroe Island MTB" in youtube for over a year knowing that eventually the gold mine would be tapped. Safe to say you guys firmly hammered it! I need to plan my trip there ASAP.
