I feel like Snake telling them his name is more than just thinking Thorfinn and Einar are worthy. It's more on starting to face his past too. He ran from something probably similar to Thorfinn's. And seeing how Thorfinn is now inspires him to accept *his* past. It's a part of him he has to carry with him as he decides to move on. As a simple farmer.

I really love how Vinland Saga takes two of the most shakey types of stories (vengeance and redemption) and delivers not a good story, but an insanely great and profound journey Also really like your reactions, you got me into binge watching Dangers in my Heart 😭❤ Thank you so much, and congrats on the new chair!

I really think Canute was hinting at askeladds influence on thorfinn with his new eloquence, and it hit me harder because thorfinn has only just reached headspace where he can actually take that in and sit with it, whereas before he would freak out and reject it with all he had
