‎بہتر باتیں کرنے اور بِہتر ہونے میں فرق ہے
‎ذر کی صِرف چمک رکھنے اور ذر ہونے میں فرق ہے
बेहतर बातें करने और बेहतर होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
ज़र की सिर्फ़ चमक रखने और ज़र होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
There is a difference between doing good talks and being good.
There is a difference between just retaining the shine of gold and being gold.
‎یُوں تو عالیشان عمارت میں بھی سوتے رہتے ہیں
‎دولتمند امیر بات یہ سب آخر میں کہتے ہیں
‎عُمدہ کمرے ہر اِک شخص کِرایے پر لے سکتا ہے
‎چار دیواری ہونے میں اور گھر ہونے میں فرق ہے
यूँ तो आलीशान इमारत में भी सोते रहते हैं ,
दौलतमंद-अमीर बात ये सब आख़िर में कहते हैं ।
उम्दा कमरे हर इक शख़्स किराए पर ले सकता है ;
चार-दीवारी होने में और घर होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
Although we keep sleeping in a magnificent building sometimes,
The wealthy and rich acknowledge about this very truth in the end,
The luxurious rooms can be rented by anyone,
That there is a difference between being confined within the walls and having a home.
‎کُچھ لوگوں نے جِئے ہیں اور کُچھ نے صِرف گُزارے ہیں
‎زِندگانِیاں جِینے کی جانب یہ فقط اشارے ہیں
‎جانا چاہے ایک ہی منزل پر ہوتا ہے سب نے پر
‎سفر ختم ہونے اور سفر کے سر ہونے میں فرق ہے
कुछ लोगों ने जीए हैं और कुछ ने सिर्फ़ गुज़ारे हैं।
ज़िंदगानीयाँ जीने की जानिब ये फ़क़त इशारे हैं ।
जाना चाहे एक ही मंज़िल पर होता है सब ने पर ;
सफ़र ख़त्म होने और सफ़र के सर होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
Some people have well lived and some have only subsisted,
These are just indications towards living a beautiful life,
Although everyone has to lead towards the same destination but,
There is a difference between finishing the journey and to accomplish it profoundly.
‎یہ تو اِک فِطرت ہے جِس میں کُل مخلُوق ہے ماہِر بھی
‎یہ تو ایک حفاظت ہے جو لازم بھی ہے ظاہر بھی
‎دو چیزوں کے اختلاف کو سمجھ کے چلِئیےگا کیونکہ
‎چوکس ہونے اور کِسی کا ڈر ہونے میں فرق ہے
ये तो इक फ़ित्रत है जिसमें कुल मख़्लूक़ है माहिर भी ।
ये तो एक हिफ़ाज़त है जो लाज़िम भी है ज़ाहिर भी ।
दो चीज़ों के इख़्तिलाफ़ को समझ के चलिएगा क्योंकि
चौकस होने और किसी का डर होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
This is inherent nature wherein the entire world is also an expert,
This is a defense, which is also necessary and obvious too,
Move ahead with an understanding that a variance persists in two things,
There is a difference between being cautious and to be scared of someone.
‎جیسے تُم کُچھ وقت کے لِئے دِلی سجاوٹ بنتے ہو
‎چوکھٹ ہی بن جاؤ کیوں سرتاج رُکاوٹ بنتے ہو
‎جِس پہ تالا لگنے کی گُنجائیش نہیں ہے بِالکل بھی
‎دروازہ ہونے میں اور اِک در ہونے میں فرق ہے
जैसे तुम कुछ वक़्त के लिए दिली सजावट बनते हो ।
चौखट ही बन जाओ क्यों सरताज रुकावट बनते हो ।
जिस पे ता’ला लगने की गुंजाइश नहीं है बिल्कुल भी ;
दरवाज़ा होने में और इक दर होने में फ़र्क़ है ।
As for sometime you become a dazzling heartthrob,
Be a gateway rather than becoming an obstacle Sartaaj,
The one which is unlikely to be locked ever because,
There is a difference between a door and a threshold .
