If a person has it in their head that an entertainer won’t make it as far if they’re not complexion acceptable then they won’t try very hard to make them a star just off so assuming nobody else will like them, does that make sense? Now understand it’s been years since I read David’s book, 1 of the best reads ever honey!! But in the book he describes, as much as I can remember, him sitting at the kitchen table with Tina and her having a very sarcastic attitude already saying something to the affect of and don’t quote me but something like, Kelly and her dark skin. David, who is a black man and felt like Tina was always extremely shady and him saying in the book he thought at the time Kelly had the best voice out of all of them, thought Tina was being mean simply because Kelly was dark. So this is the point, if I’m over your career, regardless of 1 being my child, I have 1 lighter skinned talent, 1 darker but if I think the industry won’t support the darker talent because of my own belief then I won’t give them as much of a lead or support and that’s why I say it’s a combination. And that’s why Farrah’s statement made sense. The Knowles spent all this time setting Beyoncé above Kelly and the others only to have Farrah come in looking just as cute as Beyoncé if not better, oh she gotsta go!

Amongst other tangs, Tina been a colorist, Matthew and Tina both cheated allegedly, neither really loved the other, the only thing they had in common was getting out of debt, yep debt and making Beyoncé a star. And notice I only said Beyoncé because nobody else seemed to matter, not the other girls, not even Solange. Baby it’s a read and quite believable and explains a lot

Plus, the gossip is good and his book teaches you not to put these celebs on pedestals, everybody got secrets!!

She was in the hospital and he wanted her to go against doctors orders because they had a performance. If you watch the MTV special you could tell she was sick.
