Tough break. I hate it when tools break down in the middle of a project. Hopefully you got it fixed.

Thanks. no worries, i bought some new solid aluminum wheels for it and now it runs better than ever with no more wobbles and shakes to the belts like it used to do...

Hello Jake, Great project. Perhaps you can also make a knife out of a rasp that largely preserves the structure of the file ... or at least part of it. Looks nice and could be useful. I'm curious what's to come. Best regards Joe

It's getting there, the grinder is back up and running again and the forge and hardening oil is on the way. I've almost got the shop completed. The epoxy resin and dyes should be here today too. I'll start making my own handle scales and beads. I can't wait to get back out there grinding again!

Its called a "Das Toobinator". I purchased it from eBay. Decent grinder for the price.
