You can only acces it by starting the Farum Azula zone after midnight (until 1am), turning the console off, then playing again 38 hours later (you have a time frame of one hour) wearing no chest armor but a heavy helmet (over 5 weight), and then I hope you did the Patches side quest of burning orphanages if you want to access the bonus content.

@@teetheluchador oleg is more aggressive and pull aggro better, do more damage but engvall is tankier which is good for pure mage/faith build. While oleg is good for str/dex builds since u can literally demolish any bosses poise every quickly with oleg's chain attacks. Both are chad summons

The first time I hit the Godskins with a sleep pot, I spent the rest of the battle screaming irrationally because of how easy it was and how much I had struggled before.

Ironically, this only works because of a bug. The Godskins have a move that wakes up allies, but the Duo bossfight never uses it because the hidden enemy that functions as the boss HP bar prevents them from doing so.

0:06 Welcome to Crumbling Farum Azula. De facto final Legacy Dungeon of Elden Ring. You get here after Erd Tree is burned either through you or Melina. Why is this place such a ruin? As far as I understand a LONG time ago this place was hit by a giant Comet that fell upon Lands Between. So long ago in fact that people only remember it falling apart. This comet I think ended up also making big chunk of Lands Between look like a crater, but more on that later. 0:10 lots of dragons are here as well. 0:20 But not just as a pretty skybox. This place has quite a few Ancient Dragons to fight with. I personally don't find them that bad. 0:21 And of course there is lots mario style platforming. At this point I think Miyazaki just wanted to make a Nintendo game. 0:25 Did I mention there are lots of dragons here? Some of which are also enviormental hazards. 0:31 These are wormfaces. I can't tell either why they are called that. 0:33 There are lots of those next to one pool of water here, but if you can sneak well enough you may grab treasures here and not fight the. Or fight one at a time. But be careful... 0:38 These things love to spam their damn grab attack 0:42 And give you insta-kill death plague. Fun. 0:49 Platforming can also be interrupted by Beastman Archers because there is only hate in this world. 0:56 There are also knights with Halberds here. Strong knights with halberds. 1:00 Teleporting knights with halberds. 1:22 And boss of first half of Farum Azula is by far one of the worst bosses in Fromoft history. Godskin duo. Both lightning fast, hard hitting enemies with 2 phases you need to manage AT THE SAME TIME!!! Does it sound asinine? Well wait till you hear this. Beating both doesn't give you a win. In fact you need to beat at least one like 3 times to win. And they RESPAWN AFTER LIKE 15 SECONDS. This is garbage. No question about it. Fuck this fight and whatever moron approved this. 1:34 But there is one light in the tunnel. Some weapons and items can put enemies to sleep and Godskin are a bit weak to it. But if any of you say this makes them easy I will call you on this bullshit. No. If a non gimmick boss only has one good weakness you may not even be built for then it doesn't make it easy. It makes it exploitable. And they are a MISERABLE fight without it. I know because I beat them without sleep. Fuck this boss.

Beat the hell out of them with sleep and mimic first time. NG+ beat the hell out of them 1st try with frost-flame-bleed weapons at almost level 300 lmao. Only way to make that fight "good" is to steamroll them harder than fatty does to you.

It wasn't really hit by a comet, that's what obsessive people who thought the Ruins Greatsword was talking about an Astel hitting Farum Azula kept saying. They just couldn't read. The description just said that one of the ruins that fell from Farum Azula was hit by a meteorite. As in the structure had already fallen and it was just hit by a "normal" meteorite. The most likely thing is that Farum Azula had been moved from around the water west of Limgrave and was flying away along with Placidusax by how the ruins are placed. Wether or not the Elden Beast actually did anything to Farum Azula on arrival is something we'll probably never know. Only likely thing is that it was the thing that injured Placidusax that badly, just remember to not let the boss fight dissuade you from the fact that it is the most powerful being the Tarnished faced in lore.

The little details are so incredibly accurate. Getting surprised and wrecked with Storm Assault because you think one of the halberd BKs is just doing his regular Stormcaller is like, the universal ER experience lol. I love that area btw, it’s a fantastic gauntlet in endgame to try out new abilities and weapons against worthy opponents. Also the Omen hallway down in the Leyndell sewers.
