It will still be the brand's fault. If you look at the cost cutting done, it doesn't scream Skoda in any way, compared to the Fabia or Polo. Only 2 rear parking sensors, cheap wipers, no all 4 auto up down windows, the door doesn't thud close like the Polo, no bonnet cladding, no proper wheel well cladding, no illuminated vanity mirrors on both the sides, no underside engine protection, lesser features compared to the competition, rattling parts, cheap horn, cheap headliner etc. Does it suit Skoda-VW's essence and heritage?

Just a suggestion, it's up to you to follow. When you top-up the fuel tank, then drive like a father(normally) for a few km and top it up again, then calculate the mileage. Just no need to add all this in video but you can inform it.(or add a short clip from test). Add discrimination saying, full review with mileage Follow for a few months, over a long period it works to increase the view and subscribers.😊 you are working hard and this suggestion doesn't burden you much.😊

Skoda launched this car too late. And as good as this car might be, people will now immediately flock to Maruti Suzuki Dzire mainly because it got 5star GNCAP rating. Dzire just beat everyone including Skoda Kylaq(i know Kylaq is a SUV but i am talking about price segment) in this price segment by offering reliable, efficient and durable engines alongside the best Aftersales service, the huge customer service network. Now Dzire has let go of that boring front look also and they goddamn offer the physical AC control buttons which I don’t understand why are manufacturers so hell bent on using touch based controls. If we talk about VFM along with safety and engine performance for daily usage alongside mileage with the best possible after sales service, Dzire has got the best possible chance to reclaim the brand image for Maruti Suzuki it lost due to the safety concerns. Also maintaining a Skoda or any VW car, is too expensive for an average Indian.

Presently, i am having one Fabia Classic of 2010. Original Body material is of very good quality. When i replaced one door with the same part number from workshop, it was not of same quality. It was very inferior w.r.t the original one. How is the same for Kylaq ? Because safety of vehicle depends upon rugged and robustness of body material also.
