I sharpened my driving skills in this car in 1997. I made my license on a Mahindra Commander courtesy the motor training school. The Contessa which I drove had such poor brakes which needed to be pumped. And me a novice at the wheel managed that on a uphill stop start at the Malad Times of India signal. And to imagine the hill assist feature in today's cars, people are so handicapped nowadays.
