Dune Part 2 it's back! I made this epic Orntihopter Model to celebrate the return of this epic universe.

This is indeed one of the most iconic designs from the new Dune movies. Really rad project dude! Wish my current workshop could accommodate 3D printing! I guess the Lego set will have to do…😅

What do you do with all the support pieces when you print things? Can you melt them back down and reuse them?

Unfortunately not with the resin supports, it all end up in the trash.

Where do I get the STL files for this? Can this be done on a FDM printer with any level of success?

They do have an fdm version of it. It should print well yes.
