What you're describing is authoritarianism, which is an aspect of fascism, but the other aspects are here too. It's been gradually creeping up on us for a long time. I hope enough people can see it now and where it's taking us.

I'm not quite as worried, simply because I don't think Trump thinks very far ahead. He is all about maximizing short term gains, no matter the long term cost, even to himself. I doubt he really has much of a plan for what to do if he loses the election.

I just hope people start to invest more energy in advocating direct action on the days they're not voting. Because, as the riots have shown, direct action gets more results in two weeks than two political parties in like 70 years. And you have more than 300 days a year to organize with others to liberate a concentration camp, disable ICE vehicles, educate, etc, etc, etc.
