I live in a big city in Germany. The most fashionable people are students who go into our main library. It is kind of the place where you can show off your cute outfits, because everyone there is stylish. You see Sambas everywhere, also the leopard print, furr coats, vintage leather jackets and thin scarfs. Chunky bags and the colour brown tend to come into trend for this winter as well. Baggy and straight legged jeans are popular. Low or mid rise jeans are popular as well, but you see a lot of high waist (it never really went away). Most students love vintage and second hand clothing. The people of my city are very aware of their impact on nature, so fashion influencer from here are looking for the trends in second hand stores and are trying to follow them, but in an individual kind of way (which I love). You rarely see skinny jeans on people who look like they are into fashion. The "skirt over pants" trend doesnt exist here, as well as the maximalistic jewerlery and not even the gold and silver mix. The rich people tend to go after the clean girl aesthetic with rather less accessories (they rather wear one necklace that is femenine and small). In Germany genreally (outside the city) you see a lot of practical sports wear like from "Jack Wolskin".

In the region of spain where I live there are two main stlyes depending on your economic background and politics. Altough a few younger gen x incorporate tiktok trends too. The rich and more posh girls wear kind of a clean girl look they have long hair and wear cream colors and wide flares with dainty jewelery and mk or bimba y lola bags, they are called "cayetanas". The working class girls wear baggier pants/ sweatpants and adidas track sweaters, small hoops and piercings and short bangs...gorpcore has also been a great part of it since the 2000s in the sense of wearing hiking boots and clothes from decathlon ( not arcteryx) its a less polished look here. There is also a lot of fashion looks that are more feminine inspired in artists like bad gyal or rosalia.

love this!! i think i get the cayetana look, i follow alejandra de puig on instagram and I love her style, i’m pretty sure she’s spanish. I’m guessing the other type is similar to rebeka’s from elite?

Love this video... though I would tell you about what people wear in Australia (highschool age) in winter basically everyone wears the same thing literelly copy and paste. It is a neutral compression shirt, basic deep blue jeans, white fox hoodie and sambas mainly black and white. There are not many bright collours in fashion mainly neutral colors and pastel, there is now more deep reds, bright blues being introduced. Jorts are very fashionable in summer and everyone owns a pair of crocs and air forces and everyone basically shops at supre. You dont see too many people who don't wear this and if they have more grungy emo styles they are very noticeable and looks out of place.

thank you so much!! 💗🫶🏼 i needed this for part 4! I have a question, have jorts always been fashionable in Australia?
@Preppy.Clover2 ай бұрын
@@alisonodette no they were not always in fashion in fact you didn't really see them until last year. it was mainly all short shorts. Although jorts are now extremely popular they are definitely still a love or hate thing.

India - Mumbai The fashion here is definitely a bit behind. Mumbai is the home of Bollywood, it's the LA of India. The fashion here is definitely influenced by age, class and money. Lower class youngsters tend to wear skinny pants with colorful tops, but mostly stick to traditional Indian clothing (short kurtis w jeans) Lower class elders tend to just wear traditional (saree, dhoti, kurta) Middle-class people are a bit aware of the trends. The youngsters are seen in baggy pants (high-waisted) with crop tops or baggy tops, and influences of street style and coquette are definitely there. For the elders, they have a more sophisticated style. Big hoops, colourfull dresses, cute patterns with sunglasses, etc. Not the typical pinterest style we see in the west, but a classy trendy style between mature adults. The upper class are influenced by the outfits of the bollywood celebs. Its very posh and minimalistic, kind of like the clean girl easthetic but not that much. Little bit more old money types. The rich moms tend to wear clean, fitted dresses or suits with pearls or gold. The youngsters keep up with the trends, such as low waisted baggy jeans, y2k bags, hibiscus flowers, jereseys, all that stuff you see on pinterest, but not so revealing as the culture and sociatal judgement prevents most people from wearing a lot fo revealing stuff, but other than that, thats quite it. Most young girls tend to wear short kurtis with rajisthani and Jaipuri prints, but that wont be important since it isnt a trend anywhere outside india. Love your videos and content!
