Kai 's personality is full of antithesis and paradox. The cutest and the hottest, in turns or simultaneously! That 's his most thrilling appeal. I love his dressing room, it's more in agreement with his artistic side while the rest of his house is a place where he can relax without distractions.

So, you're not totally off the mark thinking Kai seems like he wouldn't wear a ton of clothes around his home or EXO's dorm~ If I remember right, in the past, EXO has hinted that Kai used to not wear pjs/clothes around the dorm. The man used to be notorious because he didn't like wearing things like jackets on his shoulders (there's a cute clip of him on stage pouting/arguing with a staff at a concert cause he didn't want to put a jacket for his costume back on^.^). He also infamously didn't like carrying bags, like to the airport, and would put his things in brown paper shopping bags; Kai's accident prone (he breaks and loses things all the time) & he said he didn't want to worry about losing a nice bag~ He was also known for not wearing shoes and/or wearing all his tennis shows like slides(stepping on the back)^.^ I think it was somewhere around the time fans started giving him bear-themed clothing to wear & he would get such a strong positive response from wearing it that Kai got a little more into fashion~~~

Yea most of those things were from when he was in his early 20s now . He changed and grew so much since then, in his personal life he went through some major stuff too so i think that played a role too in the change, now in his late 20s he's comfortably grown into his own skin..such a wonderful man

If you want to see a perfectly organized house from an exo member you need to watch Xiumin's open house. Our lovely neat freak! But I actually liked that Kai's closet wasn't perfectly color coordinated. It gives me the vibe that even tho the space was designed by a professional he actually move and touches things. Not sure I'm making any sense.... what I mean is that I love that his house is organized but It looks like a place where someone really lives and not like a show room on a decor magazine.

If the info I got is correct, Kai probably had this pad less than a year, he practically just moved in. If you saw the room in his parents' house where he kept all his clothes, everything were just hanging in racks that occupied the whole room. My guess is that they just hauled everything into those closets, LOL! I have a feeling he still have tons of clothes in his parents' house because there really were a lot, and like what he said, he does not throw anything out. And yes, he wear pajamas, and he did a number of IG lives wearing his (expensive) PJs, usually fresh off the shower, saying hello to fans before he hit the bed.

I love his organisation - it appears to me to be texture centred which makes so much sense in a country with a wide range of weather. He plays with colour so well, it makes more sense to put similar weight materials together. Also, his pyjamas are famous. He may be sexy on stage but he's apparently a cutie off stage.

Apparently he just moved in I think 2-3 months when this started filming. Also at this time he was pretty much busy with his work , bc his solo debut was just around the corner. He did say he didn't have that much time to properly design & organize his house as much as he wanted to. So, I think that's the reason why his closet arrangements are quite 'untidy'.

I was kinda expecting he'd explain the reason why his tops were organized that way (bottoms too, but the tops are more prominent)! But at least it was neat and it looked like you could find what you need relatively quickly. Unlike the clothes at the EXO house 🤣 (trust me, it's a huge improvement!) I think his closet is like that cause it’s his personal clothes and he just goes in there everyday and picks something to wear as opposed to it being someplace that a stylist takes care of. I like it cause it seems lived in and real instead of a photo shoot. And it still seemed very organized by type although not by color. Even the rest of his house, although very stylized, there’s still a teddy bear and couple of things in the corner and I love that cause it feel more real.

I just put stuff in categories and then go from light to dark. Then all jeans, tops, knit are folded. You shouldn’t hang knitwear as it warps the shoulders. Anything tailored including trousers should be hung, no one likes to iron tailored trousers haha

I had missed this and I totally stan for Kai! Holy hell....HOT! I totally loved all the stuffed animals. So innocent. Yeah no. His live of Love Shot. I needed oxygen. I'm always amazed when idols allow cameras into their homes. They have no privacy as it is! I think you somehow have a point about color coded clothes for that much numbers. But I think Kai is not that kind of person. He doesn’t have not that much of cordination with the position of his clothes. He did it according to type of clothes rather than the color. He is more about comfort of finding what to wear according to type of clothes and he spends much time finding clothes to wear as it is.

💫Hi George! i recommend you watch a variety show with Bae Jung Nam in it, he was a top model now actor, but he's always been a hot fashionista and role model for men in S.Korea. The season 2 will start soon and apparently Kai will appear in it! The 1st season is short & episodes are also short. So he opens a pop-up male fashion store in Seoul and then he styles some common people & also some famous ones, including SHINee Minho! His fashion taste is amazing! So people had signed up previously and so Jung Nam knows people's pictures and their sizes. I’m korean and I’m confused with the comments going crazy with kai having pjs,, i feel like there’s some kind of cultural things that I don’t know about pjs in other countries? Can someone tell me what’s so special about guys wearing pj’s?
