Taemin's red suit is the best piece of hign-end tailoring I've seen on a man, and all details on the back as well just bring me to my knees. I remember watching Taemin performing Want live in that very suit where you can see all those details literally 360 degrees ( million thanks to dynamic choreo!) and it's just breathtaking from top to toe ❤❤❤

While in this case I think it was a design choice, the white shirt done up at the back always reminds me of when Taemin and Minho explained how alot of their stage shirts are modified to Velcro up the back to make quick changes during concerts easier.

I LOVE your commentary on this!! While watching your reactions to Move and Want, I've realized that what I love SO much about Taemin's styling in these is that he's taken pieces and outfits that I'd normally assume would come off as so ..... normal and overused (red suit, white shirt black pants, etc.... classic, but not something that would normally be INTERESTING to me personally) - but used pieces for it with such unusual and intentional details that it totally pulls that look of sophistication into something that's also so artistic and expressive. The perfect tailoring and angular, sharp lines in a lot of these looks combined with the more loose and flowy bits really mirror and compliment the way that he moves with the choreo too - how he flows from sharp to graceful movement in his unique way. I also noticed that the interesting silhouettes the tailoring of these looks give him works SO well and stands out so much with a lot of the neat lighting choices here that leave him backlit and its sooo like... intense and iconographic. He uses so much visual symbolism and iconography in his videos and here it really feels like he himself has become one of them. I can't WAIT to see your reactions to Criminal and hopefully Idea. Both of these continue his trend of creating an erotic atmosphere thats also layered in a sense of mystery and an almost literary artistry - its sexy, but its also moody and complicated and rich with personality. I KNOW you'll have a few things to say. 👀

Really enjoyed this one. I wonder if you might react to Taemin's concert/music stage looks someday. There are quite a few appearances of your favourites like the chainmail look from Criminal. It's interesting to see the outfits outside of a studio MV setting and in motion on a stage. My personal pick, and one of his most iconic looks, is the head to toe blue suit at Dream 2019, with the short sleeves, black multi-layered belt and single black glove. It's the same style as the red suit we see here. At one point there was even a white suit he wore for a performance. The tailoring for his Want era is just amazing.

he usually picks a statement look to define each era (more obvious when you see his performance outfits too). for move it was the sleeveless tops (with the muscled arms). for want it was the asymmetric sleeves with the single glove. i think it makes it more memorable & is easily identifiable (so makes it iconic)
