in the past two years all the clothes i didn't want no more i simply gave to friends so that they're still in my circle, i know it might not be as cost efficient but it makes me way happier seeing one of my friends be super happy with some yohji jeans rather than selling them for 200€ on grailed and some stranger never wearing them or just using them as decoration in their closet

Won the Yellow and Green ALD x NB 550s on a raffle and sold them for $375... theyre probably my favorite sneaker of the year, but as a college student with debt, I couldnt keep them in good conscience when I know there was at least $200 profit. It still makes me sad thinking about it.

I was able to get a pair of Jordan 1 mids back several years later, but all the high top Dunk’s were gone… I used to get a fresh pair every school dance since middle school. be watching these regret videos to make me feel better about my regrets lol recently sold some reebok sneakers i didn't know nothing about, tried to look up the code but nothing. found them in a thrift shop in my size but i never really had any outfits to match with it. decided to sell em for super cheap as i didn't know nothing about it, like 20 bucks only. went on Instagram today and i see the same damn shoe that i sold apparently being an kanye west reebok sample from 2004. hurts my soul, it was the blue pair, didn't have that text on the side but the exact same colorway. apparently they are called the reebok mascotte trainers

I've actually never sold anything because of the fear of regretting it, but I have a close friend who sold this vintage 1986 Lawrence Taylor jersey and he says he regrets it a lot. He talks about it all the time. The same friend of mine sold a pair of old Bapestas and he also regrets selling that too.

I had a pair of all green, almost singularly green except for a few hints of white, new balance 574 back when I was in college. The 574 are such a comfortable shoe and aesthetically they always look great in my opinion. Sold them along with most sneaker I had at the time cuz I needed the money but now, if I could only go back in time…🥺🥺🥺

I bought a pair of pure platinum AJ1s for 80 euros (!!!) at a JD sports just before the hype really started. Unfortunately at the time they looked like clown shoes to me (I'm a US12). I ended up selling them to a friend who actually wore them. Now that I'm comfortable with wearing whatever shoes I like and pairing them with wider pants I regret not keeping them. The fact that they're going for ~450 euros on the resale market doesn't really help either :(

I found a vintage anime shirt from an anime called Wicked City. I'm a vintage seller/collector but since the anime didn't mean much to me I sold the shirt for $600, crazy come up. But the way that shirt fit and looked on me made me really regret selling it down the line, and the guy who ended up buying it is a much more hardcore collector and will never sell it. I got one in the mail today conveniently, but its a little small.

I regret selling the OG Yeezy 750s for like 800 bucks. A lot of people were saying that the zippers were pretty easy to break, so my genious idea was to sell them at the highest price at the time before the price went down due to that flaw. Nope, it only went up and now i see those shits going for almost 2 and a half racks. Shits infuriating just to remember. Another shoe i regret selling was this pair of red Kobe boots, i think they were called Kobe 9 Elite XL or something like that, they were super loud since all the upper was red with this faux snake leather on them and none of the outfits i wore with them worked, but they were a gift from my uncle who loved Kobe so they had sentimental value to them. I sold them cuz i was a bit short on money at the time and i got like 50 bucks for them, which looking back on it was too cheap since my pair wasn't even beaten up like some other pairs i've seen on eBay that go for like 80.

Did the homie a MASSIVE favor in retrospect. I was working at a boutique at the time and we flash dropped the origin story Spider-Man Jordan 1’s. The homie got to the spot a bit late and got a 10 while I got my True to size, size 9. He wasn’t into sneakers so he didn’t know about size swaps or anything so I swapped with him to save him the hassle. Unfourtnately I got antsy and sold the shoes for $250 because I couldn’t get my size back, now they go for upwards of $700. Shoutout to Afterpay though lol, gotta get those back
