I don’t necessarily think learning how to sew is a requirement. Remember, these are DESIGN challenges, not SEWING challenges. You can know how to sew and not have an eye for design, and likewise you can have an amazing vision and be a glue gun queen. That said, knowing how to sew will help make the challenge easier, but there are other ways to pull it off.
