Me and my best friend absolutely LOVE drawing designs. Just for fun. Then my mom talked to me about being a designer. I loved that idea and told my best friend. We got better and better at sketching and a month later we both got a sewing machine for Christmas. She'll come over to my house and sketch, look through fabric, and begin to make something. The first thing we ever made was a dress made of velvet. On class we were sketching and our friends saw us and asked what we were doing. We told them all about being designers and they wanted to judge our sketches. Then me and my bff got them to do a sketch to show them it's harder than it looks. As I'm typing this I'm waiting for her to come to my house and design. Dream big ❤️

tbh, I only looked for a way where I can do the template of the body without getting my designs dirty, even if I design something cool, I always end up making them dirty, but look, now I found a good way to not get my designs dirty 😂😂😂 thanks a lot 😘 imma show this to my friend ❤

I wish I have all the things I need for drawing, I'll be 13 years old in a month. I really want to be a fashion designer but my mom really want me to be an architect. I really wish I can have my own personal space for drawing, I hope one day I can draw as good as you. I always loved to see peoples drawing. I want to draw, I want to paint, sketch and any other things. but all the peoples near me, doesn't see the way I see, they always think like "oh this kid can draw" "my friend can draw" they never really see what I look up to, I really wanna be a fashion designer not a kid who can draw 😭 it's really sad when you can't be what you want to be.

try draw a background first Ive done graffiti draw one line the "smaller line " a little lower than the center line of your sheet and bring it back wider each time varied between your "model sketch" and eye line ratio as if you were standing or seated ... works for me and creates a sort of inspirational atmosphere in ways ...;p

Not sure why right handed artists want to film from the right, we cant see what you are doing. If you are right handed, film from the left, if you are left handed, film from the right. Simple as that. Informative video, just wish I could see what you were doing as you were doing it.

I like using my entire arm to sketch, gives me more fluid curves and my linework is less repetitve, I noticed you use your wrist and like to go over your lines! Does it hurt after a while?

I also talk to a lot of buyers from various stores to see what actually sold and what they are looking to buy for the next season. Question: why do most designers make things that people have seen a thousand times before? High fashion maybe sometimes be over the top, but at least we don't see the same thing over and over again.

+WhatTaDooo That's simple, the reason you see a lot of things repeated is because at the end of the day Fashion is a business and companies need to make money. If it sells, keep making it over and over again and you will be set! Most high end fashion companies don't make their money off the stuff you see on the runway. They usually make the bulk of their profit on perfume and handbags! The fashion shows are just for fun

hello :) my name is Miri and im 14 years old, i live in Germany so im sorry about my english, since i was 8 years old I was interested in fashion I would like to go to an internat in England after i finished my school in Germany, I can not draw so well but also not that bad, My parents, friends do not support me the way I imagine but that's okey because its my dream and not theirs,I do not have so many colored pencils that are suitable for drawing I only have a pencil, eraser, sharpener and a few colored pencils,My parents do not want me to buy some colored pencils Because they say they are too expensive and I will not use them but i will! i love to draw! irk its so hard but i found a way if you have a fashion notebook or any book with a person in it in a nice pose trace the right figure on them and than cut it out and you have a little body to trace

+Meg Smail Well for one it takes a LOT of practice! I have been sketching for over 15yrs now. I also use a croquis (figure) as the basis for all my sketching which helps a lot. Take some classes if you can and keep watching my videos :)
