Mori has all the best parts of all the great Singers, the warm tone of Whitney, a better whistle control than Mariah most of the time, everyone has a bad day even Mori, then she has the power over most of her range of 5.3 octives, her technic is way up there with the best if not better, there are great vocalists out there it's a shame that they are reduced to sex objects, like Jessie J, Ariane, Christine A, and many more because of the record companys wanting to sell the product and not the voice of these beautiful Ladys, there are acceptions, like Celine and many great Singers of the past, it's the Quick Buck and go to the next New voice, shame there were many like Lara Fabian who said no to the production firms and did her ohne thing which did not make her super rich like Rianna sexy but not much voice, if you take away the sex sells part then there would not be a lot left, just those great voice and beautiful smiles like Mori's.

I agree with a lot of what you said, John. Sex was always the one to sell, but even more today. We have so many "singers" who can't produce a note but they have the look that's commercial. Morissette is a beautiful woman but she has one of the best voices in this generation, and I hope she will go far in her career, as well as in preserving her voicr.
