Vocal ability and acrobatics mas bilib ako kay KAT. Pero there's a distinct tone in Morisette's voice that is unique. Katrina shared same tone with other artists. Mas naaattract kasi ang mga tawo sa uniqueness. Yung tipung Hindi pa nila naririnig. But overall Katrina is my no. 1 she's "hinog". Her vocal ability is just superb and effortless.

Mori’s voice has a lower timbre and more conservative, traditional approach. Kat has a higher reach and more contemporary and very flexible style which I personally prefer.

Your wrong morissette has higher timbre than katrina since mori uses Chesty Dominant Mix, while katrina Uses heady mix which allows her to effortlessly get into highnotes than mori. Mori barely uses heady mix thats why her timbre is higher..

2 of my faves along with Jona. They have their own strengths and weaknesses, which most are contrasting, like their belting range. Mori uses more of a chesty mixed while Kat is a little heady, so Katrina dominates in upperbelts while Mori takes the midbelts. One example is the Go the distance cover, Katrina used Regine version which showcased ease in upperbelts while Morissette did a lower version, which she showcased her Midbelts. But both sounded amazing in their own ways. It's more of a preference battle. lol 😊😁 Love them both. ♥

Voices INMY Head yeah, we have the same Trinity. Yes, Mori is more of a chesty belter while Katrina is a heady mixer. Para akong nanood ng Sohyang vs Vanessa Amorosi video. Pero imo, mas consistent si Kat sa breath support, pansin sa riffs and runs at vibrato niya compared to Mori. I love them both. May kanya kanya silang strengths at weakness. I love kat also but I prefer Mori above all. Mori can actually do Regine’s version of Go the Distance if she wants to but probably the arranger or musical director made her do this arrangement. You can tell that she can do it because she did “Say That You Love Me” Regine’s version. What made me adore Mori even more is her choice not to totally copy Regine’s belting sound. She is showing her distinct tone whenever she sings a song. Kat is Regine’s young version. And I agree it boils down to preference. Mori is my most fave next is Kat but because of Jona’s “My Saving Grace,” I am now confused which is my 2nd and 3rd. So id say both of them are my next most fave. We are all lucky to witness this generation’s vocal trinity.

Both are great singers, but Morissette is just in a different level honestly. Every time Morissette sings, she invokes certain emotions that she wants you to feel. When she sings a sad songs, she makes you feel the pain. If it's upbeat, she makes you wanna dance. At times, when she sings, listeners/viewers start remembering certain memories because they connected with her through the song that she sings. I believe that's why so many people are captivated by Morissette is because of her ability to connect with her audience. Not to say that Katrina can't, I just believe Morissette has already mastered that aspect. And then there's also the vocal versatility: growls, whistle notes, breathing control, dynamics, vocal breaks, etc. She places each component strategically and makes it seem natural, at the same time accentuating the feel of the performance which makes it genuine. That's what makes her far more than just a great singer. That's what makes her an artist.
