At first glance some of these dresses are beautiful. But the more you watch the video and pay attn to the details, you start to notice the material is cheap. Some dresses look like they would fall apart tge first time you wear them. Lots of the dresses look plastic.

Yeah it looks real cheap up close

Doesnt that show their skills as a designer though? Being able to create an amazing garment with cheap fabrics?
@nigeltufnel95255 күн бұрын
You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know anything about high-end, couture fabrics. These dresses cost tens of thousands of dollars because of the fabrics.

All of these gowns looked so very heavy. I only saw one that I would consider church bride worthy.

The only positive thing I can say is that the fabrics are amazing. The style, not so much. As usual, the models look like they are doing this under a threat of some kind! They look like zombies!

Some beautiful gowns. Just not for a bride.

Lovely, but nothing really demure or innocent. Quite gaudy, really! Nothing an innocent virginal young bride would want to wear. Beautiful but not for everyone.

Too much glitter, not enough quality fabrics or unique styles. And very few you would want to wear in front of elderly relatives, thats for sure! Bad pagent dresses in white, and from the closeups there were, not particularly well made.

Lol maybe not _your_ relatives

@wednes3day Well, as I am 74, I'm not likely to be getting married! But still, I harbor old-fashioned ideas like modesty in a wedding dress. That does not, however, negate the fact that there were no really well-made dresses, and the styles were a mish-mash of things that were tired and not very original.
@VLuava5v55 күн бұрын
@@MSjackiesaunders you just looking for excuse to say you want to wear it. Go and find a shapeless dress that white and with good fabric that is everywhere you go even in malls. Go look for that.
@MSjackiesaunders4 күн бұрын
@VLuava5v5 Actually, at 75, I'm unlikely to need a wedding dress. When I did get married back in the 1970s, I designed my own dress. It was an 8-gored velvet skirt with a silk blouse and a lace vest, worn with an antique lace veil. I paid for it myself (although the veil was an inheritance from my mother). No, it wasn't the height of haute couture, it was timeless. I can look back on it more than 50 years later and still love it. Yes, fashions change. But I have friends who got married around the same time as I did and went with what was "in" at the time. They won't even show pictures from their big day! But, you do you. If you want a dress that is badly made, with cheap fabrics, in the "height of fashion", it is your business.
