There are two sides to Herrera's interior design: the contemporary studio with the portrait by Warhol,with bright white walls, black and white upholstery and accents. The other side to her interior design style is shown in her red living room: the dramatic red silk damask is upholstered both on the walls and furnishings, and the room incorporates extraordinary and pricelss continental period antiques, primarily French Rococo, mid 18th century. This is a continental aristocratic style, very Parisian, and defines Le goût Rothschild. I think to update these more formal rooms you would incorporate contemporary art: the horse paintings, 18th century portraits are very fine, but I would love to see how this designer could instead incorporate the verve and freshness of her studio into the more classic rooms.

He's British. And I don't even think he's a real person. Its a computer generated AI voice. Anyway, even ethnic people don't pronounce words like "burrito", "chili", "churro", Los Angeles", "Mexico", and "Texas" properly because no one would know what they are talking about if they said it properly. The language gets watered down to suit the American masses.

@@valsainking It's more than being simply dumb. When people "bastardize" a language its a racial slur. They 'can' pronounce the words correctly, but they 'refuse' to because its a put down to that race. They intentionally bastardize the words as an insult. I once corrected a wealthy white woman when she continually called her expensive casita as a 'casida'. it wouldn't have been difficult change to make. But she refused to correct herself because she thought she might be mistaken for a dirty, lowly Mexican. Surely you understand this passive-aggressive behavior that's beneath it all.

My personal opinion on the house: Love her clothes, not her house. Some rooms are totally nouveau riche (aka glamour) and the red rooms look like the stereotype of a brothel - I was honestly shocked because I expected something completely different. I guess you can't hide where you come from. The video show often the same pictures and the narration is insufferable to me, I had to mute it - still didn't make it to the end.
