I would continue up to the top of your staircase with the garland. And invisible twine I think would look better. The gold hanging baubles look spectacular, I may change the black one to gold though. Check with an electrician about the chandelier as it could pull out the fitting from the ceiling. Looks beautiful though Josie! x 😊 🎄🎅 🎊🎉

If the chandelier is fastened in a wooden beam under the ceiling and has proper fastening, it should be fine. It’s hard to say without knowing what it is fastened to underneath the ceiling 😊

Totally agree with the fairy lights! Even if you are not having visitors you’re doing it for yourself! I think fairy lights really add a nice glow when we have so little daylight and the leaves on the deciduous trees have all fallen.

Hi Josie, my Mum and I have not long subscribed to your channel and we're really enjoying your videos. Going to Burford garden centre is such a delight since we can't go anywhere. Just wanted to say you bought a witches ball... although a rather floral one.. witches ball were used by "witches" usually midwives or women who knew how to make medicines with herbs and such. So they would hang them in front of their work station usually in a window, so when they were making "potions" (which wasn't allowed as it didn't fit with ideas at the time) they would be able to see if anyone came into the room and then they could hide what they were making. Also it showed any unwanted spirits that could sneak up on the "witches". And I know this because we have a witches ball 😊 Also yes get another garland to finish the stairs.. take care 😊

The white teddy coat you were wearing in Burford has very visible makeup streaks on the collar. I hope you’re aware of it. Unfortunately that’s a downside of light coats. I have personal experience 🙄.

Hi my boyfriend worked in lighting for years and your light looks like it might be a Franklite Flemish, the chains can normally take 25kg including the light that light should be about 4.5kg. But that all depends on if the hook plate under the bell sconce at the top is fix into beam/noggin if yes then your ok I hope that helps xxxx

I'd add another garland (or two) to complete the staircase, otherwise it looks half done. The rope left over from the two baubles you had to use ribbon for, could you tie those together to use with one of them? Save some money when purchasing additional rope.

My boyfriend is an electrician and he says you should be fine, since the chandellier is so heavy, the electricians who installed it normally need to put it very secure on the ceiling, few more kilos shouldnt be a problem🤗but if it is only with one "hook" on then maybe you shoulf be carefull

I’m a bit blue deviled today.....when my husband and I were first married ( 42 years ago).... we bought a blow up giraffe....I don’t even remember why.... we named him Harold.....we had months of fun posing him in various locations or dressing him up in “ costumes”....it was a fun, carefree time in our life....at this stage of life when more is behind us than in front, memories are wonderful....I pray you and Charlie have many many happy years together making memories....
