You know Josie and Charlie, as a picnic aficionado : ) I find there are methodologies to avoid the invasion of unwanted ants and other insects. Just spray down foldable Cardboard Boxs the circumference of your eating area the day before. The day of the picnic, lay out your blankets and spray the surface paying special attention to the edges. Of course, Baby Wipes are a girls best friend when it comes to cleanliness after the completion of this task. You and your guest can enjoy a leisurely picnic of three hours or more without fighting ants and other insects. PS Spray your bodies down with Non-Deet Misquito spray upon leaving the house and again before leaving your cottage. Love and Respect from Gwendolyn (Mayfair , London ).

Lovely Josie, there is a thing/kitchen tool called a ''zoodler" that makes zucchini and/or yellow squash into spaghetti . Thought it would give you another ay to use your squashs. We eat zucchini raw in our salads but I can only eat the long necks of the yellow squash, (I'm weird). Also, (1) there are hats & baseball caps you can soak in water to keep you cooler since you and Charlie are outside in heat so much (2) Dyson makes air-condition fans, in cse you didn't already know.
