I would love a 90’s Fast and Furious prequel to Tokyo Drift set between 95-2000 detailing the peak of the JDM market using a young Han as the protagonist. This would not only display the JDM golden age, but also show how Han got into cars in the first place. Basically a modern Wagan Midnight/Inital D/FnF hybrid.

When they finally send off Paul’s character, They should incorporate Paul’s real brother Cody as Brian’s younger brother that nobody knew about because Brian has always been low key ever since his role in the first movie as an undercover cop. Somehow cody comes into the story, and dom says something to Cody like ‘Brian never told me he had a little brother’ and Cody says some dialogue about how Brian wanted to keep him away from the dangers of the fast life… I think the team meeting him at Paul’s burial would be fitting because it would be a passing of a torch. And who better to fill the shoes of Brians absence than his almost identical looking brother.

Yeah I don't like how expendable the cars are treated in the latest f&f movies. Makes it really hard to get excited about any of them, and none of them become iconic like the cars in the first film. Even Dom's connection to the Dodge Charger feels less and less genuine when he has a completely different one in every movie. If they go back to basics with a street racing oriented lower budget approach, I'd like to see the main characters stick with one or two vehicles and have to fix them every time they get banged up, because these characters don't just have unlimited money lying around.

The spin-offs will need to be low budget if they want to see any success from it. "Girl power" movies are typically commercial failures, but perhaps being a "Fast & Furious" with returning cast members will help it a little. But it's still gonna fail.

I wish they would have finished the story with the 7th movie. To me it was the perfect finale. Probably the best option would be to start a new story with new characters and a different setting. Again street racing culture mixed with action, like the first movies. I think the 4th title was the perfect compromise. But I hope that at least a street racing spinoff will happen

I feel the saddest and big problem for the Fast n Furious movies, is entirely the loss of Paul Walker, noone can replace him / Brian as a character in the movies, it'd be a very hard place to try and move in a new character, unless it was a path way of Mia storyline perhaps, it's just totally sad as loss is I think likely for everyone involved and fans, RiP Paul ✌🏻❤️🙏🏻

I think they need to do a new cast and do a series of origin stories for the original 3 films cast. Give us a dom,letty, leon, vince, mia, tran movie at 18-23. show the racing by the old railroad tacks. Show Dom and Tran doing some business, then embellish on the "business deal gone sour". Give us more of a taste of Dom's dad, and the aftermath after the accident. Give us a brian, rome, tej origin story. Talk more about Brian becoming a cop, and the bust on Rome. Show everything missed from the Brian on the run story told in the 2 fast prelude. Give us a Dk, Han drift origins racing in the mountains, or a sean getting kicked out of school after school racing around the country story. You can still have some of the cop/crime stuff, but get back to the racing roots.

The sequel where all the original gang is together to make quick cash in LA with streetraces to run off to South America. Meanwhile "Brian's character" is missing, nobody knows whether he has run off to somewhere or is being held up in FBI secret prison somewhere.

It'll be a dream sequence: Dom has been in a coma since the end of the first movie and the plane crash dream at the end of F10 wakes him up. Vince and Jesse are still alive. Letty had Doms sperm "extracted" and she had twins using IVF. The movie ends with one word on the screen: Family.

I would love to see Han decide to be done with the nonsense military strike force team bs and decide to go back to Japan, and get back to the racing scene. Tokyo Drift left me wanting so much more once they showed us they had the potential to do a great racing based movie. Seeing the precision drifting like drifting uphill through the winding curved ramps in the parking garage just left me desiring to see more precision driving. Seeing the drift training they did was also fun. The fast wangan pulls where cops ignored speeding past 180kph, just so many fun realistic scenarios. I guess really, I'd like to see Fast and Furious go more towards an Initial D style story and action scenes. After Fast 5 I think it was?, the Brazil movie, I was kinda done. That one was already way over the top of what a group of "street racing thugs" should be capable of.

8:35 if I was universal, I would make 2 spinoff projects - Make an 8 episode hour long show series where the spinoff crew has to deal with the consequences from the events of the films - Make an anime series a la mode Edgerunners and have a cast of memorable characters and have it be a racing team that has to do underground jobs to fund their racing dreams, you can keep the tuner style underground. The majority of the sales would likely be overwhelmingly merch. Get studio trigger to make the cast again and see how it goes

F&F should've ended after the 5th or 6th movie. They had their money and Letty being back and everyone free in LA. It made sense to finish it up there. The 7th made what it did because of Paul's death, and they've been horrendous since! 9 and 10 were basically jokes 🤦‍♂Mamoa's character doesnt even make sense with his out-there clothes and demeanor, especially when you consider who his in-film father was. Can see 11 being a flop and making less sense than the rest 😂😂

I think they should close this series down with a finale. It is time to make a new world with new ideas new stories. I don’t even believe there should be a reboot. Paul Walker was the key to this door and the writer’s have gone too far from base. Street racing isn’t going to save it but good real racing but may pay a great Homage of their roots; fake “James Bond” or “mission impossible” crap will not. The street racing and making the car its own character(not just making the cars disposable) is what will make this work. The cars currently are all disposable and have minor sentimental value.

Honestly, an extra years development makes sense because where in the hell do you go with a second part of a film like Fast X? Especially with every protagonist outside of the obvious 3 still unknown. What? Are they going to start off with Giselle, Letty, and Cipher riding to Portugal and seeing Dom and his son in the water after they supposedly survive that flood and explosion? And salvage the Charger somehow? That's literally the only way they can start the next film.

I watched the first 5 movies on opening day. I own all of them but have yet to watch the 9th all the way through and haven't even watched Fast X yet. I feel it all lost steam after 6 but I still like them all the way up through 8 and especially Paul's tribute at the end of 7... It's definitely not the same that they once were and not the same without Paul. I thought they were going to be bringing his character back in either 9 or 10, using his brother Cody and/or CGI. Us diehards would know the difference though. I didn't see a point in another trilogy of 11-13, I don't foresee a 2nd wind of the franchise especially without any appearance of Brian in whatever form they'd make that happen or at least explaining what he suddenly left the crew.
