I would love to have a demonstration/pattern for this using the flexi-flips needles

This video needs SO MANY MORE VIEWS!! This is such a great video; I’ve been worried about the heel and I’ve been wanting to make a toe up sock on double pointed needles; Thank you!!

That always looks so cool with those double ended needles. I really wish I could knit more that the basic stitch.

It would require a generally boring video on fronts and backs of stitches on needles and how they change when done in the round versus flat, and how to untwist stitches when doing all the above.

This is very cool thanks Sassie! Can't wait to see it finished. I've gotta try those. Oh, you should check out the Purl Together channel, she has a Turkish cast on that is similar but I think it's easier. I use that one all the time when I do for up now. Have a great day 😊

I agree @teresaharp with the Turkish cast on being easier. I wish I saw this video & paid more attention to it 😀 I'm doing the 3 x 3 ribbing & I only did 3 rows before I moved the stitch to the next ribbing set & it looks too busy with the variegated wool & I can't be bothered restarting the sock. Next time I do a spiral sock, I'll do more rows before I move the stitch to the next ribbing set 👍 I'm using size 4 (3.5mm) with my 3 x 9" circular needles.

Is there an easier way to do this cast on? I’m lost.

You can use any to up cast on you want, this one lets me skip the Kirshner stitch.
