Fast and Easy Way To Fill the Chalice of the Inverted Verses (Mea Culpa Shrine) - Blasphemous

To the point and easy to follow guide on how to fill the Chalice of the Inverted Verses in Blasphemous.
The Chalice of Inverted Verses is required to reach the Mea Culpa Shrine in Desecrated Cistern.
Important note: Before you start make sure to rest at the Prie Dieu in Albero.
Once you partially filled the Chalice of the Inverted Verses you are not allowed to Fast Travel or allowed to die.
However you can Exit to the Main Menu and reload your savegame to return to the Prie Dieu in Albero.
I removed all loading screens to keep it to the point. Saving you 2 minutes of pointless video footage.

If you got trouble with the spike pits and pendulums use the Tiento to your thorned hairs prayer so you can just jump through them, they won't push you off either, also works pretty well with the giant censer.

I did this challenge the legit way. It sure was hard and required a lot of planning the route and finding the shortest way to different areas. I remember that my strategy was going from up to down and I used the Golden Linen Cloth to jump from pits to other areas. The last one was in the Canvas, the statue. Then I traveled to DC using the protective prayer to avoid damage and stuns and just used speedrun tactics by avoiding enemies. Totally doable and it was satisfying puzzle. So you just gotta git gud, I guess. But it's refreshing to live these memories and see new solutions to the game challenges in videos such as these. Though I'd like it more, if the strategy doesn't rely on glitch, like this one. But it's not technically cheating, but it takes away the satisfaction of the hard work.

Hey guys, you can use the shrine teleports, the upgrade from 20k tears will allow you to travel between shrines, I've tried it with the chalice and the tears stayed, died to recheck if it actually works or not; After death the tears are gone, so I refilled and used the shrine, tears stayed, this way you can save ALOT of time and hassle stress free. Hope this helps anyone who comes here later on c:

So lemme tell you how NOT to do this. FINISHING THE WALL OF HOLY PROHIBITIONS BEFORE starting this!!! I had not even started the Arc. Rooftops before I splunked the Chalice in the Sleeping Canvases. To make matters worse, I had to save at every point in the journey to the Bile Vessels topped off. Tortured and long are the paths of the Miracle - I finished this successfully without dying. Of note, this is my second playthrough, so I mapped travelling from The Wall to Jondo with the least amount of spike risk...least...

You still can teleport but for the quest you are not allowed to. If you teleport you will have to start over again.

For this quest you are not allowed to fast travel, teleport or die once you partially filled the chalice. The normal way is that you walk from one enemy to the next enemy without dying. The method in this video is kind of a “hack”. Because if you exit the game and load it again after you partially filled it, it will remain partially filled in. But you will be back at Albero and skipped a lot of walking around.

Do you leave the chalice there or keep it in your inventory when saving

The Chalice should always be with you and will be partially filled after killing each enemy. After killing an enemy you can exit.

It depends on which Prayer you equip. I can't recall which one I had equipped, sorry.
