Took a chance on a Vitesse in April 2022. 3000km and five months later, loving it. Swapped out stock wheels and seat with Hunt Aerodynamicist 32 wheels and Selle Italia SLR Boost saddle. Small frame setup (I'm 5'7" / 150lb) comes in at 7.4kg with SRAM Red. Probably could have went down to XS frame, but it was hard to tell since they sell direct, mail order only. I was worried wouldn't be able to handle the racier geometry (previous bike is endurance geometry and I'm not the most flexible, but have decent core strength), but so far so good. Even have the stem slammed. Delivery was fast (from UK to Canada under two weeks). The box came damaged and the eTap charger fell out but Chain Reaction made it good right away (buy from local store and scan receipt for reimbursement). Assembly was easy, less than an hour (and for someone good with tools probably under fifteen minutes). Comes with tools. Only complaints are that the paint could have been applied more evenly and that the front derailleur needed some adjustment to prevent chain from falling off. To be honest, at this price point no real complaints. Similarly spec'd major brand would have cost 25-30% more. From arm's length the paint looks fantastic and after fidgeting with derailleur, no more dropouts. Love the slender, dropped seatstays. Love the aero short-drop handelbar, so easy to ride in drops. And surprised that, when riding on the tops, I now prefer the bladed handlebar to the traditional round. Thanks for covering these bikes guys, not much out there on this brand, but thanks to your reviews, hopefully more people will consider Vitus bikes. Under the radar top notch: they even have Sean "the King" Kelly on their design team. Here's my full review after riding 4500kms in the last eight months: melpomeneswork.com/review-2022-vitus-vitesse-evo-crx-sram-red-etap/

Hi, are the comfort levels of this bike anywhere close to endurance?
@edwinwong9547

@@Lander76 Geometry isn't that much different than my endurance bike (Marinoni Sportivo). After swapping out stem they're dialed in quite similar. I actually find the handlebars on the Vitus (stock) more comfortable than the Deda handlebars on the Marinoni: the shorter drops are perfect. The handlebars are rad. If you're looking for comfort, I'd say tires are the biggest factor. You can fit up to a 30mm (and perhaps some 32mm) in the Vitus. Just back from a three hour ride, loving the bike.

Recently purchased the Vitius Vitezze Evo CR ETAP AXS road bike Rival for £3200. Cheap at the price. It was a replacement for a right-off after a crash. Bought it as a long distance road bike (won’t call it an endurance bike as that’s not what it is) and can’t fault it so far. Rival ETAP is excellent to work with, a real treat, and really impressive for the price point, while the weight is easily something I can live with. And comfort, for an all out road bike, seems good, although no long distances done quite yet. Very hilly up here in Scotland so the EVO is much more practical. So far, very pleased with the bike and looking forward to a summer on the saddle.

It's amazing how a monocoque frame still hit the 8kg on the scale. But when it's start to role...it will keep the momentum (speed) for sure.

In today’s terms they’re probably good value but oh my god have bikes got expensive
@bergerniklas6647

totally agree, though the new canyon endurace seems to be not much more expensive compared to one from 2018. At least when I compare the 105 versions

yup, a combination of pandemic and brexit means that it's about five times as expensive to land a container in the UK as it was a few years back, so the end consumer is going to be paying for that hike in the bike shop :-(

I would love to get my hands on one but the rest of the europe was left behind after brexit and a bike that costs 600€ on chainreaction after taxes and shipping to Portugal turns into 1200€... It is a forbiden brand for a lot of us unfortunently
