The hour hand of the clock moves at twice the speed of a regular clock and the minute hand moves at one-fifth the regular speed. If this clock matched time with a regular clock at 1 pm, what is the actual time when this clock shows 9pm (Options - 1 am, 11pm, 6pm, 4am)

Sir, as the time difference is 16/11 minutes in 64 minutes, shouldn't it be (16/11)÷64x24x60 = 32.72 minutes difference (by unitary method) in 24 hours?

Sir. In the martian clock question, shouldn't it be covering 720degrees in 18 hours?(Half day) Like for one full rotation our clock takes 12 hours and not 24 hours. Shouldn't this take 18 hours and not 36hours?
@Examrace5 жыл бұрын
Consider this a digital clock and not analog clock
@kshiteeshbijjula80004 жыл бұрын
In the Martian clock question, they didn't state the format of the clock, if it's day and night format or not. But if you apply the same to our clock, our clock doesn't cover 360 degrees in 24 hrs. Instead in 12 hrs.

The minute hand of a clock overtakes the hour hand at intervals of 66 minutes of the correct time. How much a day (24Hours) does the clock gain or lose?

There are two clocks. The first clock is one minute late every 45minutes and the second clock is one minute early every 30minutes. At which times should the clocks be set at 9AM so that at midnight both clocks show the correct time? Solve this

In first ques. You only considered the extra time that inaccurate clock covers with respect to accurate clock.. But in second question you took total time extra time + normal time... Why? Shouldn't in first ques it be 180*60+59/4----> 180*60
@vrs8226 жыл бұрын
When will they show correct time simultaneously?
@-CantHurtMe-4 жыл бұрын
if a clock is behind a normal clock but is gaining time it will show correct time when it gains that time of which it is behind of the normal clock
