Mosquitoes can be vicious, lol. We got bit by mosquitoes on our trip. What can be really bad on Assateague are the flies. They bite. No wonder the horses head for the beach when they get bothered by the flies. I love the shadows you got of the birds. Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing with us!!!

I tried to photograph cliff swallows a couple weeks back. They are tricky for sure. I positioned myself between their mud source and their nests and sprayed and prayed as they took off from the mud and flew towards their nests

I too shoot the a1 and the a7R IV with the 200-600mm lens. The swallows can be done, it requires practice and patience. Keep up the good work.

you need a dot sight to follow them easier and focus limit then lens
