Standard issue CHP specific siren developed by Whelen used on their Rockwell-Collins system. Being slowly replaced by the new Whelen CenCom with the boring Sapphire tones :(

@@Critical911 you can’t. All their units get decommissioned in Sacramento and all their equipment is removed and used on new units being introduced into the Fleet.

@@Critical911 the biggest problem isn’t so much that old equipment gets reused (typically it doesn’t), it’s that the Rockwell system has the lights and sirens built into their CAD computer as an entire integrated system. Because of the confidentiality of their systems and what’s on the computers, those will never be released to the public. New issue cars are all getting the new Whelen CenCom.
