Thanks soooooo much for finding a great song ( as in an ideal song candidate for beginers to learn ) that uses finger style picking. I want to do some more finger picking as i progress. Hoping to be able to play a small assortment of songs this summer when away on weekends with family. My goal is Annies Song , even though it was done on 12 string for the sound and output, but that is quite a ways down the road. Respectfully , I would like to elaborate on learning with videos, for myself anyway. I only use a smart phone. Being that i love finger picking style, i gravitate towards these videos and lessons. Even moreso i gravitate to your lessons because you present the learning nice and slow so that we beginers can follow along. However , I find myself zooming in on what your string picking positions and sometimes what your fretting string positions are , even though you are already speaking which string positions you are positioned on. I was wondering if doing a split screen , later on in your series for the picking and fretting positions , would be possible as i find it easier to feel for my picking strings while copying what you are doing , rather than me leaning forward looking for my strings and listening to instruction. Sometimes thinking about what strings i am looking for, and listening to instruction is more difficult, for this person anyway. Not sure how many others would agree with me about being able to learn finger position correlation while feeling for strings and watching the instructor. I know this was a long comment, sorry about that. I actually edited it down. Once again , you by far are one of the top tier instructional video presenters for acoustic guitar. I have the others from my beginer guitar group watching your lessons. We start up again in one week. Happy New year Amber .

I truly appreciate you taking the time to write to me and share your experience and some really great ideas to help me understand what my audience need 🌟🎸 I really like the idea of a split screen!! I am going to experiment with this idea. I only use one camera when I film, I do not have 2 or 3 set up and zoomed in. The issue with zooming in on footage already filmed from a meter or 2 back, is that it can come out a bit grainy. It’s my birthday coming up, maybe I’ll ask for a second camera 📷 😜 I definitely appreciate your help and advice, I think that most people watch on their phones these days. So this is vital information to take into consideration 🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much, and I also really appreciate you sharing my channel with your other guitar friends ☺️🙏🎸

Just found you and this lesson is great. One observation after playing for 8 years is that saying 8th fret when it is the 10th is really confusing. Especially as I know where the 10th fret is. I have re written the tab.

I understand that can be very confusing 🙈 when using the capo, we count frets relative to where the capo is on the neck of the guitar. If rewriting the TAB is helpful for you, then that’s ok too! 🎵👏🏻✨
