Fast Combo like a Pro - Riven Mechanics Guide (League of Legends)

This guide will teach you how to do the Fast Q Combo on Riven. The Fast Combo will help you improve your mechanics and hopefully allow you to win more games. I go into detail about how Riven's Q works and how to do animation cancels so you can increase your dps. If you are new to Riven then the fast combo is the best mechanic to learn.

Good stuff! Would be really helpful for new people picking her up. I was thinking about it but if you do trade combos too alongside with the teamfight ones i think thatd also be super helpful, (if you decide to do it 🙂🙂🙂) , like short trades, extended trades, all ins, combos with dodging in built like Q1 > mc auto > Q2 (away from target, to dodge their stuns or get outside their auto range etc) > Q3(back into them) mc auto > instant E W out

Qing without a target when facing the enemy champion can be pretty good if your target is escaping, the extra dash range helps a lot.

I find the trick with riven is learning some animation cancels and timing your opponents cooldowns. Every riven that feeds will all in a Darius or garen before they've used any abilities

Can you do like dance emote or laugh emote as the animation cancel? I have issues with clicking the target and then clicking somewhere else in order to move. I can put emote on space for example but im not sure does that work?

1:05 Q in place and normal Q has the same animation duration. Test something first before spewing myths 2:08 The recovery animation doesnt have any lockout. Its not really an animation cancel when you "cancel" it The AA>Q is not an animation cancel. Its just doing the next step as soon as the previous one is done
