Ok so the point is Look for the dual horns in the north side of hammer head. After that just wait till it’s night time then do the quest (Get the regalia first) that’s about it just repeat it. I’m sorry if I’m missing anything but that’s about what I’m getting from this dude. The way he explains things is every weird but I got the gist of it.

Yet there is no map,... go here on this mound.. do you have any idea how many mounds are in this game that look like that one??.. 743 meters south of hammer fall, and 186 meters away from the side road.. thats about as specific as I could get..

If you look at the video and pause it 1:10 you can see a bigger rock nxt to a tree and look at everything else in the video you can found this rock he is talking about ! Found it in 5 mins cuz I had to pause the video a few times to look at everything round and bammmmm got it …. If you can’t then you have bad eye sight and bad photograph memory !!! Cuz I found it and I am already at level 21 just sucks that it comes out once a day ( IN GAME DAYS )

For got to mention you don’t have to keep going back and forth you can just wait there at the diner when u except the bounty until 3am or 4am and start heading that way . I got tired of going back and forth . But if you need the money and AP go for it .. I just wanted the exp only

There is a chest icon sorta north of Hammerhead, go north from the chest icon spot until you see a dual horn that spawns there every day.

Thanks, took many many hours to find the perfect spot to be each day to get a consistent spawn each day and the hunt was better than afk'ing the rest of the day and each night.

How many hours real time did you spend getting lv1-30 from doing this method. i found out that if any debased coins found mix with fire, ice and thunder x99 spells gives more power to kill cactuar plus bonus exp gained.

I have noticed that sometimes I never saw him. He doesn't always spawn in the morning as he can spawn anytime during the day.

There has been several times that he would appear at 7pm in the same area. It has happened to me several times. Also, it has happened to appear twice in a day both 5am and 7pm but you do need to kill that rhino to make him appear

Because he has weapons from late game somehow as he used a blade of bennebrae i believe which is available only chapter 3+ as you need to beat chapter two to get to the chocobo post where its sold

Right next to the mini map is an icon with a sun or moon. It gives the time in military (24hr) format.

Picking a hunt that requires night time will give you an option to "wait until night" and it will make it night right then for you.

4am already means 4 in the morning. Didn't show cactuar location in video. Just said "in this area" like people would recognize the series of brown rocks on the horizon. Don't need to say 4am in the morning. Don't know how to push a button to pull up map. Video is redundant. Vocabulary, much like people who would say irregardless to sound smart a decade ago. yeah are you playing ps4 or xb1, I'm playing on xb1. but I found out you can fight the cactus 2x a day so since I can't ffwd the day I just kill 10 hrs in game time to get him to spawn again. if I kill him at 5, I go back to the spot at 15, save it then load it and he pops up again. stop doing the night hunt cause I was wasting money on potions ect. just started doing the lvl 2 hunt to kill time and then when it gets dark I go train at the camp till 4 and go kill the cactus again. takes longer but it's all I can do since I can't ffwd.thanks for the help though

yeah saw that on another person's video, only thing I found out is how to guarantee to respond every time by saving and reloading, it takes about 15 mins real time for the respawn btwn 4-19 day hours

I usually killed the dual horns nearby then stood on the rock I showed and he usually spawned early morning with me just standing there.
