Also what dremel did you use? I dont have one to do this job and was wondering if any dremel could work or if need a strong one

My Dremel is the absolute base model. Nothing fancy. I think it was like $70? BUT, check for a store brand or other cheaper option. I think Menards sells a "rotary tool" which works the same way for $20-30.

Thanks this worked on my 1996 ford explorer 5.0 it was only blowing heat i pushed the door i cut out now it is blowing cold air

What did you use to break the door with

Honestly I can't remember, it's been a while. I think it was a pair of side-cutters that were a decent size so I could get through the plastic.

Remove the glove box and you can get to it no problem

Wait so you don't have to cut it or take the dash out? Mine just broke yesterday. Tested the actuator and it still works but I have it on excellent authority the blend door isn't moving
