Fast Forward to Queensland: Mackay restocking day. 22JUL24.

Well, with every long trip there comes a time when you have to resupply and restock to be able to continue on.
today here at Mackay Marina I took advantage of their rent-a-wreck, an old Holden Commodore which I used to go to the supermarkets to restock my food supplies. on the way there I drove to Slade Point and had a look at the ocean from there it was a beautiful turquoise colour, however, at sea it was quite rough. that was expected as the reason for my staying longer in Mackay was due to the strong winds that are coming through at the moment.
After the shops I took a quick drive along the harbour wall which is the favourite cruising strip for those with loud cars and loud motorbikes and the like. I got a good view of the churned up see coming by also a tugboat coming into the harbour.
then time to return the car and transfer all my supplies onto the boat.
