The fact we've never seen, or even heard of Dom's brother before this movie reminds me of Uncharted 4 A Thief's End, where we find out Nathan Drake has a brother, Sam, that we've never seen before or heard of, but that game was so good I didn't even cared about that, plus, unlike Dom, Nate never talked much about family in the first trilogy of games from what I remember.
