The fast elevators at the Covington Radisson Hotel. The one on the left side of the bank is out of service. This hotel building was originally built in the late 50s or early 60s, but it was updated in the mid 90s in a more traditional style. It still has its original round hotel tower with a restaurant on top. I don't know what this hotel originally was before it became the Radisson. These elevators go about 500 FPM, faster than the low rise bank at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. They were originally Otis Autotronic, then MontgomeryKONE modded them with Adams Designer fixtures and chevron lanterns when this hotel was renovated in the mid 90s, the same time it became the Radisson. Installed in the late 50s/early 60s and modded in the mid 90s.
