Got sooo excited today - thought I found my first camel hair ralph lauren blazer. It just didn't feel super high quality. All the tags looked good except the fabric tag was tucked into pocket and was not their normal fabric tag look. I left it. AND found fake Steven Madden Girl shoes... Thanks for helping us know what to look for!

Yes, Balmain is a high end designer 👍 I used to read People and US weekly for decades so I remember these brands easily 😅 I am starting out new and just getting organized. I’m in Canada as well but am going to focus on building up my inventory while creating a smooth system. Question - do many sellers offer free shipping? Do you?

There’s a mixed use retail development (aka fancy outdoor mall) near me with the following stores: Vuori, Free People, Faherty, Mizzen + Main, Reformation, Lululemon, Travis Mathew, Johnny Was, Aritzia, Anthro, Vince, a Neiman Marcus with a Dolce & Gabbana and all the rest of them, and probably 25 more that sell well online in resale. I’ve sat there with a coffee and just seen how people are dressing. There’s another shopping street with cafes and bars and Madewell, Howler Bros, Reformation, Frame, Marine Layer, Aviator Nation, Lulu etc etc etc plus tons of small local boutiques that carry smaller super expensive brands. Another great place to people watch and make mental notes. Gotta find those places where you can enjoy a beverage and do “research” - that way you can write off the beverage.

I Google signs of authenticity, compare to high sold listings, and if all else fails I send it to the real real for them to sell for me.

You can Google how to tell for each specific brand. Each brand is different. I also compare to high sold listings. When in doubt, I send to the real real for them to list.

I'm new to your channel, I just noticed you sell on Ebay. I've been on Ebay now since 2000. Do you use and do you like the "Promotions" button at 12%. I made a mistake and used the 12% promotion rate and it ruined my sale. I wonder if anyone is using the Promotions and is it worth it. Ebay has changed so much. Now it only shows how many views you get just for the month. I have items that no one has seen. I hear Ebay hides small sellers.

I have experimented with promoted listings but haven't really found what works for me. I've been able to have sales without promoting.
