I should note that most of my videos are filmed a few weeks before I put them out. Thats why you still see us on group rides and taking risks. Given the current situation, I’ve stopped all group rides and only ride well below my comfort level. Stay safe out there!

You're a great rider. One of the things that catches me out (and I think it did for you too) on unfamiliar trails with quicker riders is not seeing the lines they took as they're too far ahead. Cant be helped. One other thing, about your videos- you're one of the few MTB video producers who doesn't manage to flatten out the image. That trail was not only steep- it LOOKED steep in your footage!

Man I think I may be developing an obsession to mountain biking, I bought a new bike last year (vitus sentier vr) and Just from my first few legit trails I’ve ridden this year it’s probably the most fun thing I’ve ever done(and I’ve only gone by myself!) but now the weather has been pretty bad in my area so I can’t ride and my skin is crawling! I can’t wait till the ski mountains turn into dh parks. Ps. If anyone has any tips for a beginner rider or knows any good trails in upstate ny(preferably Albany area) please let me know!

Tips: learn to actually pump a jump instead of just pulling up 2. Buy the more expensive bike usually, cause it will cost u more in the long run 3. Learn how to bail

What wheel size are they riding, your 29er is an excellent bike, it's a very capable bike for rolling over obstacles efficiently and it's quick in a straight line but unless you're an aggressive rider with good upper body strength then it's always going to feel like steering an ocean liner around switchbacks etc, dare I say it but you could possibly be over biked.
