I highly recomend the lever grips for a trials bike. Sweat won't make your fingers slip, it feels more comfortable which can add to confidence when breaking, and you won't scrape up or blister your findgers with the tip of the lever at times when you're really on the breaks a lot. Never thought I needed or wanted something like this, but so glad to have it. Also the company is great, very personal and professional.

Good recommendations, like the channel. Got to disagree on the Exposure lights though. I rode a (older) version of the MaXx D and Joystick for about 4 years of trail and Enduro, including a trip through the Alps and never had an issue with brackets. Or price for that matter. Good kit is worth paying for, for me that's the whole point of saving money on cheaper parts somewhere else. Maybe it's the cost/tax of buying stuff from across the Atlantic, but remember in Europe we pay the same premium for everything coming the other way. Keep up the good work, love the reviews. 👍

Hi Seth. I have the Rock Shox pump. You have to break in the lock. Also you have to use only the large pump by locking the handle back onto the large tube. The pump works much better with short strokes with the large tube for tires, not with the large and small. The small is for shocks of course. The pump comes completely apart allowing you to clean it and lube it with grease. I don't even have a real floor pump. I pump every tire on all my bikes, including my tandem with this pump and by hand, lol. So I would give it a chance and attach it under your bottle cage. Its great in a sticky situation and bulletproof!

Bike hacks: When you are biking after it rains or whenever there’s water (puddles, creeks, lakes) and don’t want to bring a water bottle, bring a Sawyer Squeeze on your next adventure! It’s tiny and inconspicuous, and it barley takes up any space and weighs almost nothing. It’s a water filter that can clean any water when you drink out of it’s straw. Just bring it with you in your frame, and you won’t need to bring heavy water.

Hey Seth. Try a simple box fan tilted over wet shoes, maybe with a towel underneath if over carpet. Almost every one has a box fan or similarly powerful fan, very cheap if not. This will dry shoes VERY quickly. Couple of hours at most. No heat required.

Your using the shock pump the wrong way, when in high volume mode you should lock the handle instead of locking the handle in the t position, lock it in the I position. While you lock it make sure the pump made for the tyre don't move with it. Move only the shock pump I suck at telling advice. I'll make a video about it.

To dry wet shoes, a much cheaper (almost free) alternative to electric shoe heaters are silica packs. You find them in pretty much every packaging, be it for food or clothing. Do not throw them away, collect them. Put a handful of them in your wet shoes, and the shoes will be dry after a few hours. With newspaper it might take up to three days for your shoes to dry, and you'll have to replace the paper a few times. The silica packs can even be re-used multiple times.
