FAST TUTS: DUNE Tile In Substance Designer

As part of my regular designer practice I try to replicate materials from photo reference, this was really interesting and not complex at all, proving that having good fundamentals is key to tackle challenges while re-creating materials.

Whenever I need some inspiration to make some studies, one of the places I always check is mattershots ( / mattershots ) they have some incredibly good photographs of real life materials that are really interesting to recreate with Substance Designer, If you ever need some inspiration or want to practice for some studies, make sure to check it out!

Hi guys! When I started learning CGI I got to a point where I was not a "beginner" level learner and it started to become a bit annoying finding this long tutorials (although some of them have incredibly useful information) where I just needed some very specific information to revisit.
So I'm giving it a shot to do some "FAST TUTS" tackling very specific topics, on how to do things I used to revisit every once in a while while working on projects. Hopefully you'll find them useful!

Thanks! I always try to reduce the textures into basic shapes that can be managed and art-directed later on the process without needing to deconstruct too much.
