China has recently reduced or stopped the import of several key agricultural products from the United States, notably wheat and corn. In this video, we will analyze the reasons behind these changes and explore their potential economic impacts on both countries. Additionally, we will examine how the trade volume between the U.S. and China has evolved over the years, despite increasing tensions.

Historically, the US state dept discouraged wheat production in foreign countries. If ever you needed help from the imf or world bank, you would be told to switch to other crops and buy wheat from the US. They encouraged countries to grow export crops that competed with suppliers to the US bringing prices down. The US would often freeze wheat supply as part of sanctions. Today China and Russia encourages countries to grow their own food and helps with investment reducing poverty. This has resulted in lower demand for US and EU surpluses.

Many Countries can do without American produce and other food products. There are many Countries that can take over these products. Many can grow these things in Asia and for a cheaper price. Isolation of Western Countries could help achieve this, with some exceptions, like Mexico, South America. These countries could even benefit, because US would have be forced to lower cost to Southern America. If they don't they would only hurt themselves, the dollar is going to loose value over time.

Not really, it rebuilt Europe, and Japan after WW2. Neither one actually shown appreciation, in fact, Europe bought out much of US's industries in the seventies and eighties, and Japan grew to the point it could buy the US outright. Then it was a "Not no, hell no!" situation where the US took a step back and Europe panicked by forming the EU, and Japan's economy took a nose dive. Then when the Soviet Union collapsed, the US tried to help out Russia and found out that the USSR had a deep seeded well hidden mafia complex and scared them away (for the most part), and China (elected) a leader dedicated to drag the whole country back to communism, and yet somehow take over the US as the world leader. Not really seeing it working out for either one of them. The only country in the whole world that has shown any appreciation for saving it's ass is South Korea. So, as far as I am concerned, the US and S Korea can be their respective trading partners and let the rest of the world figure their own fates.

Even Indonesia has more potential, but its only potential. The US is undergoing a strong revival and the US is the centre state of a wealthy supportive West. It isn't smart to threaten war and arm a territory, the Island of Taiwan, while sewing the idea of revolt to become independent. Especially when they are your major trading partner. The impact of world trade with China was defusing the tensions of wars with Asia by America. First Commodore Perry's Naval intervention in Japan, the occupation of the Philippines and repression of the war for Independence against America, WW2 against Japan, US wars in Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Encircling China conflict in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran have all strained relations between China and America. Constant tensions caused by nuclear armed US and allied fleets. The USA has imposed numerous trade bans, excessive import duties and other sanctions, and now the US complains that Asia, and especially China does not want to pay higher US prices! Wow, what a surprise!
