A 3% growth rate for a developed economy is extraordinary.. China has a population 5× of the US .. So for China such growth rates should be normal untill the per capital GDP reaches that of US levels.

Economic growth rate of a developing country is always higher than that of a developed country , although by definition China is a developing country but it looks fairly developed one on top . But here is the deal , the US is the biggest consumer in the world , so whatever happens there , affects everybody

at current rate China is adding a Netherlands sized economy every year, and an indian sized economy every 3.5 years. so yeah, better worry about your brexit than a slower RATE of growth in China. China's slow down is intentional, and will be beneficial in the long run, as the current Xi administration is curbing the overcapacity in economy, which is a leftover problem from the previous Hu administration's over investment due to the 2009 world financial crisis. China lost their competitive advantage in making Nike sneakers to vietnam and Bangladesh years ago, so why is this channel trying to portray that's a bad thing? This means China is moving up the economic ladder, and is producing higher value goods and services.

Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
@donwhizz7880 Жыл бұрын
Yes i agree with you with the need to hire a financial advisor to help you diversify your portfolio by including Mutual Funds, Etf's, the 11 GICS groups, inflation-indexed bonds, and stocks of companies with reliable cash flows rather than growth stocks, where prices were based on future prospective earnings. Following these principles and insights from my CFP, from 2020 to date I have made around $900,000.

One very important thing that you did not address is Xi Jinping’s favoring of Chinese state owned enterprises (SOE) over Chinese private enterprises (PE). PEs are more efficient and create more wealth and more jobs than SOEs, yet investment is now being preferentially directed to SOEs and away from PEs. This represents a definite break with previous policy began with Deng Xioping and continued through Hu Jintao which favored PE over SOE. The SOEs are not creating the wealth that PEs created and the economy is slowing as a result. Even access to the shadow banking credit markets is being restricted to PEs which are not growing as a consequence. This is an important story that needs to be covered if we are to understand China.

Why are you so anti-China? Have you been reading too much fake news being perpetrated by the American hawkish politicians? What has China done wrong to you?
@gethcreator7515 жыл бұрын
@@wong3150 China are anti west so why wouldn't we be anti China? They steal western tech and use the illegal parts of a protectionist model to crush foreign business in their nation while their business flourishes in others, they are not good people. (Just add I'm talking chinese government, the Chinese people who live in the west are generally nice hardworking people)
@wong31505 жыл бұрын
@@gethcreator751 Geth, can you prove that China is anti-West? Please do not make generalisations without facts. At this moment, there is strong indication that America is displaying anti-China behaviour with their trade war and other acts like telling China to abandon it's China 2025 plan because China is not allowed to be technologically ahead of America. What kind of logic is this. Please discuss issues with sincerity, common sense and fairness but not with your hot emotions.

@@wong3150 the trade war Trumps waging is a great thing, we should take note. China are anti west obviously, they break wto rules all the time, steal our tech and sell it as their own and crush foreign business in their own nation.

One thing that I do not understand is that in this video is says that China is in debt. It is my understanding that China is also a huge lender, lending to many developing countries in Africa and Asia. So I don’t understand how could China be in trouble for borrowing, if it is lending and lending and has so many countries in the world (like Sri Lanka amongst some other countries) indebted to it? Could someone explain?

also the BBC isn't telling you is that China flight to skirt numbers officials are encouraged to give different numbers then what it actually is so you could say it's growing at 8% when its really like 4% because the Chinese officials are saying it's that but it's really not.
