🎉 on the PB. Beating your youth version, who was pretty good, is truly a breakthrough.

I’ll be competing across the street at Masters Nationals 😁 Going NOwhere near as fast as times I did 20+ years ago BUT as a distance free girl I’ve learned to swim breastroke pretty decently so that has been fun! Thank you for sharing your journey, it has helped me a lot!

You have the speed to be in the 1:02s for sure. Do you think you should be doing more LC training maybe? Most of what I see (that you post anyway) seems to be SC.
@FikeSwim5 ай бұрын
I don't think so, because even in college when we trained long course every day I would lock up at ~80m. I got a few long course practices in this season, but yes, 90+% of the practices were scm.

@fikeswim - Question for you: you mention you're 198. How tall are you for comparison sake?
@FikeSwim5 ай бұрын
6'3" but I've brought that up and as I type this I probably weigh 204
@JimStrader5 ай бұрын
@@FikeSwim At 6' everyone makes me feel so SHORT these days. When Schooling won the Olympic gold for fly he was referred to as a short guy at 6 feet. And then i wondered when 6 feet tall became so tiny. Awesome 100 Breast swim.

I already said it but just in case: 100 Back 1st: Ryan Murphy 2nd: Hunter Armstrong 3rd:Shaine Casas Also Fike, why don’t you swim at TYR pro swim meets? Are there certain times you need?
@FikeSwim5 ай бұрын
It's hard to get away with family and work. I already devote a lot of time to training and racing, so to add travel on top is a bit much. Plus, we've got lots of meets and great pools around here, so it works out well.
