You are so right! Power is nothing without control! Some people also think Power it is the most important point for Speedruns, but in my opinion is this is wrong. Efficency and Aerodynamic are very important things! Also for Drag Racing a truck body is not the best choice😉

To get better times you're going to have to try to keep the front wheels on the ground. Adjust your wheelie bar accordingly. And then practice your 60 ft. If you can keep the front end down you got it made plus traction of course. Good luck bud I'll keep watching....👍👍👍

Can you move the Esc forward to help keep the front down more or just add a coin or two to the front axel to help the front stay lower to give some steering input during the first 60 feet. Its clear its getting PLENTY of traction with those power wheelies! Looks fun I think I'm gonna get one soon, My local track is redoing there parking lot and I think drag racing may soon be a thing at my lhs!

I tossed in a dumbo Gyro keep me straight wide open, 120amp esc and 3650 9000kv in a bezgar 1 hm101. Snow here so just been sending it through the powder but should be a drag beast. It has a late model Chevy styled body too..I plan on getting a bangood version to make 2wd

Yeah they def are. There's a local small airport by me and they shit down 1 runway and do a 50's/60's nite and it all vintage dragsters with good food,haha. Def a cool and fun event. Only downside is no video taking or photos due to security reasons for the airport. Locals are cool and respect it,it, not so much.. but it's all good

On 3s you do need a longer and adjustable wheelie bar stiffen the preload on the rear shocks one or two clicks, change your pinion up two teeth or more? Depending. Seems like the traction is on that surface. But on others you may have to resort to a tire prep solution like for example pimp juice. On 3s your motor torque is almost double. All those tweaks will help manage that. But there no replacement for testing and gaining experience. Also log all of your data. Either by sensor’s or benchmarks. Have fun! Hopefully get to see ya on a no prep race someday 😃

If you set it up to where you can push the suspension. Down to where the wheelie bar touches it will go a lot straighter and if you give it too much throttle it will spend instead of wheelie and going hard one way

If you buy a blue tooth module u can actually mess with sensorless timing for the sw4. Its a better esc then the vxl esc haha. The mamba x you can get all the goods for tuning though. I have both amd love them for bashing. Tekin is my racing go to

Looks like you need to get one of those RC corner balance weight sets (made by the same people who make your speed meter). Needs more weight on the nose infront of the front wheels as it has the power, you just need to keep the nose down. Be interesting to see if the stock body makes a difference to the run times, alot of wind resistance on that c10 body. Would switching to velcro be the way to go to hold the body on ????

You need to adjust your wedge. Notice you always kick left on launch, add preload to one side to equal it out.

I think I'll have to get a drag car! DR10 roller or RTR. The roller is probably the way to go as I'd change everything eventually anyway but then the RTR gives a out of the box bench mark, and all the spar parts will get used somewhere... 🤔

Try lowering your wheelie bar down a lil bit. Push the rear end of the truck down and let it return to ride height, measure the space below the bottom of the wheel and set it to 10mm. You may need some shock tuning as well a a diff fluid change. Looks like a good surface so 500k should work good. Then you should be able to handle those full throttle snaps. 🍻

This is the way! Even if it costs more than the 500$ of a Drag Slash I would much rather spend that 500 towards actual tunable electronics and parts. Any decent remote can setup a " trans Brake" that's nothing new. Just set a custom button for a brake & done. Just my personal thoughts on it.

Get a tekin RS pro 2 pole setup with a 2 pole motor for a fast 2s setup. At least a 4.5t motor starter then move to a 3.5t or 2.0t. 2 pole are faster on 2s rather then 4 pole setup.
